The Scraps

Having completed the Instavention, I wanted to find a way to 'make' the results with the participation of the community. I asked if anyone had any fabric scraps they might be interested in sending to me in the UK and the response was overwhelming. Below is a map showing where the scraps were sent from and a gallery of images showing some of the parcels.

The care, consideration and notes that some of the makers added to their little scraps demonstrates a deep, meaningful connection that the makers have with their materials.
