Instavention
To carry out this piece of research I created a new mechanism; The Instavention. This utilises the connective, community led elements of Instagram with the creative opportunity to engage participants in research. Digital connection with analogue outcomes.
I tried and tested a variety of different content formats: still images, gifs, short form how-to's and hour long live sessions. The results have been analysed and turned into a Research Tool Kit as part of my PhD outcomes.

The short form how-to videos were the most useful in drawing in particpants, but the weekly how-to lives were the most successful in encouraging participation and creating a research community.
